Several years of cooperation with universities, training of researchers, consulting during their studies of eye tracking and providing research equipment led us to organizing the Eye Tracking conference.
Mgr. Jiří Lukavský, Ph.D.
Researcher, Czech Academy of Sciences
Jiří Lukavský does research on visual attention and memory, he is especially interested in the questions of how we observe multiple objects at the same time or which details people remember from photography. Generally, he is interested in how people orient themselves in complex situations where there is more information than how much the people can process or remember. He also deals with statistics and methodology. He teaches at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, Charles University.
Ing. Alina Mashko
Researcher, Czech Technical University (CTU)
Studies HMI, especially in the field of transport, participates in research focused on examining the psychophysiological state of the driver at the Faculty of Transport, CTU in Prague.
Ing. Jan Petružálek
Graphic Designer, University of Hradec Králové (UHK)
A graphic designer/marketing specialist, but also an eye-tracking enthusiast. He focuses his doctoral studies mainly on UX and testing websites using eye-tracking technologies, with which he has been working for more than 6 years. He is constantly looking for new opportunities and ways to successfully complete research and projects. He is currently managing an eye-tracking team of people who carry out contracts with private sector with the help of University of Hradec Králové.
Mgr. Petr Adámek
Researcher, National Institute of Mental Health (NUDZ)
Graduated in Art History at the Faculty of Arts, University of South Bohemia in 2013. He then obtained a master's degree at the Art History Seminar of the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University in Brno for his work in experimental research of artistic intention. He is currently a doctoral student of Neurosciences at the 3rd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University. Under the leadership of doc. Ladislav Kesner, he works in the research team Image, Mind, Brain in the laboratories of the National Institute of Mental Health in Klecany.
Ing. Mgr. Vojtěch Zíka
Researcher, LABE (Laboratory of Behavioral Economics at the Jan Evangelista Purkyně university in Ústí nad Labem)
Vojtěch is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Economics in Prague and is currently researching human decision-making as a part of his doctoral studies at Faculty of Social and Economic Studies, UJEP and Faculty of Science, Charles University. He has been a research affiliate at Chapman University (CA, USA) since 2019. He also works as a director at the Center for Behavioral Experiments (CEBEX), which, in addition to research, is primarily engaged in educational activities in the field of behavioral sciences.

In everyday life, during sports or while driving, we often need to watch multiple moving objects at once. In our experiments, we are interested in where people look in such situations. We will present the results of our experiments as well as our eye-tracking data processing procedures based on the comparison of raw data without segmentation into fixations and saccades.

The lecture can provide useful information on what things to look out for when testing websites. Moreover, what to focus on when designing an experiment and which findings from UX and web design should be used in the analysis itself. Presented on a specific project for ŠKODA AUTO.

Eye tracking provides important data for understanding the process of driving a vehicle. The use of eye tracking while driving is simple and reliable, the measurement does not affect the driving because the system does not interfere with the driver’s operation of the vehicle. With the help of eye tracking, not only the visual field and the division of the driver's attention are examined, but also the decrease of attention - this can prevent some dangerous situations when the driver loses control of the vehicle.

With the help of eye-tracking and experimental economics, the study seeks to find out to what extent consumer choice is influenced by food quality labels and how much more money they are willing to pay for products with these labels.
